Pauline’s Dad catches the Royals, must be somewhere near Watooka Day School. Anyone recognize the exact location? On further examination, I see a water tank in the background that I do not remember as being in Wattooka Day School. Check out the first comment…

Doesn’t look like Watooka to me, but Cockatara.
One of my mother’s sisters, Marcelle, became private secretary to the office of the Governors-General in Port of Spain. She got to meet all the royals and other dignitaries who visited and had many stories to tell. She even had a silk scarf that Indira Ghandi gave her. Eventually she was given an award from the Palace. I do believe she even carried on a correspondence with Princess Alice, though I have no idea what happened to those letters. Pity. Marcelle was sorely missed when she passed away in Montreal quite a few years ago.

The other teacher was my brother’s teacher and I only know her as “Gemma”
Her name was Gemma McBrerity. Barbie Coles was my best friend & I see her also. I think I am one of kids in the picture.3rd from the left, looks like my hair but can’t be sure as their is no face.
Yes Margot it is Pip – couldn’t mistake him! Think the boys either side could be Robbie Castell and your brother!
